Yesturday at the After School Program the children held an election to vote for the after school program council! It was very fun! The kids had a great time!!

Our new church Grace Fellowship is collecting shoe boxes filled with toys and other fun things for Operation Christmas Child. I participated a few times years ago and really wanted pack a box this year. I had such a blast picking out the items for that little child someone in the world! I chose to buy items for a 2-4 year old girl. Who knows what $20 can do?! Here are some pictures!

My week back to work after a vacation was good. The only glitch was that my Friday school didn't know I was going to come. So I show up to do my story time and nobody was ready. The funny thing is that I left flyers in every class. I also faxed flyers to all the schools as well. Oh...Well...No harm done.

Michael and I are headed out to go to the movies to see Fire Proof! Can't wait!!!

Christmas Cards and New Food!

Why have Subway when you can have Potbelly! Sandwich Works! Yummy!!!!!!! I had the chicken salad. Yummy! Warm,crunchy, and gooey! :D :D Looks like I found my new favorite place for quick eats. I go in phases. For a while it was Panera. Then it was Chipolte. Then it was Subway. Not it is Potbelly

A couple of days until vacation!

The last days of work before a vacation are always the most difficult. My brain is already on vacation! I love work (Well...Most of the time). Yet I really do need a break! Ha!!! I typed "I really do need a brain!" Hmmm....That was a very telling slipup!

A local videographer threw an idea at me today. She is interested in offering still picture booths at events and she wondered if that would be something I am interested in doing! Hmmmmmm.....Let me think! YES!

Things for the scrapbooking/art club are really going well! I found a couple ideas in Family Fun magazine that I might like to do with the kids! Some kind of cool Thanksgiving Day place cards will be fun! Also Christmas placemats for our pre-school lunch cafe!

I am playing around some more with Christmas cards! Here is one that I made today!
