BLACK FRIDAY!!!!!!!
I'm going to get my Christmas Present! A Cricut Expressions! Thanks Mom and Dad! As my former students at St. Johnsbury Academy use to say, "She has elbows and she is not afraid to use them"!
As any normal life artist would do I will bring my camera to document the insanity known as Black Friday. There are just some things you need to experience at least once in life. For example, New Years Eve in Time Square! I've done that! Go to the midnight showing of a movie! Done that! Now early morning BLACK FRIDAY shopping is next on my list! Wish me luck!!!
Of Coin Jars, Chocolate Brownies, and Guilty Pleasures!
I spoil the girls in the scrapbooking club! I make yummy treats! Last week made these ooey-gooey brownies! Yummy!
Here is the turkey that I used for one of my little songs during story time!
Ok...I have to admit that I have bought into the whole Twilight hyteria! Ok...I know I'm 29 years old, not some Teenie-Bopper, but these books are good. Good as in the sense of Soap Opera good and cheesy romance books good. The Twilight series is just a guilty pleasure! You don't always have to be reading some intellectual book!
My mind is made up! I am getting a Cuttlebug! It's cheap and it does it's job! Plus it's just so cute! I've solicited the opinions of several scrappers and the Cuttlebug comes hightly recommended! So...The day after Thanksgiving...it will be mine!
Almost Friday 5
When did you last use the edge of a coin (or a knife blade) as a screwdriver? This past summer, I was trying to put batteries in a toy. So I thought a penny would make a great screwdriver. Nope...it didn't. The knife blade worked!
When did you last use a wire coat-hanger to break into a car?
Last fall, I locked my keys in the car. They were sitting nicely on the passenger seat. My passenger side window was slightly ajar! So the director at work and myself rigged up a contraption with a giant plastic candy cane and a wire coat hanger to get my keys out the window! Ha! It workd too!
When did you last use food or drink as medication?
Does Hot Chocolate count. I'm feeling a little bit chilled right now! So I'm drinking peppermint Hot Chocolate!
When did you last use your cellular telephone as a flashlight? Yesturday morning! I used Michael's cellphone as a flashlight to find the cellphone charger to plug in his cellphone! I use my cellphone as a flashlight quite often! Especially when I'm trying to find a work shirt in the bedroom while Michael is still sleeping!
When did you last use a paper clip for any purpose other than to clip paper?
I'm sure it was to get something small out of a toy! :D :D
I have the grumpies today!!!
The Cricut Expression! What my Mom has that I REALLY WANT!
The stuff I lugged to work on Tuesday!
Scrapbooking Club is catching on!!!
For those Stargate fans this is for you!!!! I saw this one night while sitting in traffic!
I'm reading Twilight just to see what all the fuss is about! It is very good so far!

Sorry about the yellow colors! I forgot to change the settings
Scrapbooking with Stephanie and Sarah
Scrapbooking at Archivers with Stephanie and Sarah was soooooo much fun! Stephanie is just getting back into scrapbooking, so it was really fun to share with her all the new products and tools. She was really excited about the ultra fine glitter and Flocking. They had really fun demonstrations. The tag above was super easy. I really wanted to buy the punches...but didn't. I did get some super cute Christmas stamps! Yahoo. Oh...and the Mini Acrylic Albums. Oh...I can't wait. I have plans to make something for someone special :D
A Drive in Indiana
I love the blue color of this building! So funky!
A Fun Surprise from UPS
Another wonderful book by Ali Edwards! It sure didn't disapoint! The Mini Books were amazing. This book really speaks to me because I am more comfortable scrapbooking with mini books. I think Ali hit it on the head when she said that with regular scrapbooks you are never truly finished until you are done creating memories. Mini-Books gift you a built in finished feeling. I like to finish things. I feel uneasy when things are left unfinished! This is a must-read for all you memory keepers out there!
This book was a gift from a friend at work! Thank you! Thank you!
A Must See Movie
Last weekend Michael and I saw the movie "Fireproof"! This is a must see movie. It is such a romantic movie! It's the feel good movie of the year. Ok...So that acting isn't incredible, the subject matter and HEART behind the movie more than makes up for it! Ladies, bring tissues with you! I can't wait until it comes out on DVD.
HAVE A GOOD DAY!!!
